The World Stole the Church
Chapter 14
Reality Check
Given the difficulties described in Chapter 13, how can this scenario of Together Groups be accomplished?
Only by the Miracle of God! Any time we obey God,
It is a miracle!
“29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.”
– John 6:29
Unsung and unnoticed, there must be prayer!
We are dealing with a group of people that are saved and unsaved! Some will, Some won’t!
Tares and wheat!
Wisdom from above is required!
For those who will, the opportunity should be provided!
Repentance and Faith must be preached in the power of God the Holy Spirit! Hopefully New bottles will be created, bottles of repentance and faith.
“17 Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.
– Matthew 9:
“17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” – 2 Corinthians
Those containers that love the Lord and His Word should be given the opportunity to obey Christ!
But all should be given the opportunity; and presented with the challenge of looking directly at God’s commandment in 1 Corinthians!
“26 How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying.”
– 1 Corinthians 14:
Some will, Some Won’t!
Ground Rules
- In a casual setting setting, perhaps the home, all must be completely voluntary, especially the sharing participation,
- A facilitator must be found, who understands and believes in the voluntary participation of Together Group participation,
- This facilitator must know how to not talk and not be afraid of silence; allowing meditation of Together Group members,
- All Together Group members must be those who confess that Jesus Christ is God; Who came in flesh to die for their sins; according to Isaiah 9:6 i.e. professing Christians!
“6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”
– Isaiah 9:
- Multiple sessions must be devoted to the study of
1 Corinthians 14:26-33,
- Bible Scripture must underlie each participants contribution,
- Size must be limited to 12,
- Keeping Unity of the Spirit must be the goal of all participants; Nothing but the Divinity of Jesus is worth disagreement!
- An evaluator should be found who will be honest about the Facilitator’s adherence to the Ground Rules;
Giving his grade at the end of each Together Group Session.
